Hello There are few issues A. Diabetes is a relative contraindication for LASIK as diabetes is associated with dry eyes and LASIK will also induce dryness Moreover there is poor wound healing in diabetes B. As you are 40,you will need near vision glasses after LASIK LASIK will correct distance vision only Cost for astigmatism is same as for spherical power
