Koch's spine operated and D1 removed
My wife operated for Koch's spine , where decompression found at C7 to D2 levels.
Multi-planar, multi-echo sequences of the Panorama (cervico-dorsal ) were performed.
Destruction and complete collapse was found for D1 vertebral body with resultant focal kyphosis at the C7 to D2 level and acute angulation at the C7 to D2 vertebral level.
The D1 was removed during operation and no alternate platinum chip or substitute for D1 was implanted due to her condition.
Is she able to live without D1 ?
