Procedure of making lactogen1 is ok. All instructions are given on tin box. Your child must not be getting adequate milk. Each time approximately 50 - 60 ml milk is needed. Its very difficult to give breast milk and lactogen1 simultaneously. Breastfeeding is easy to give and no need to monitor amount. On breastfeeding your child is passing good amount of urine (5-6 times) in a day and gaining weight for his age then dont worry and stop giving lactogen1. Mother needs proper rest in between, 3-4 times balanced meal, and enough amount of liquid intake for good output.
