If you have symptoms such as fever , abdominal pain or blood in urine , need to consult urologist. If no above symptoms, need to take plenty of oral fluid , need blood and urine investigations done as there is a risk of getting repeated renal/ urinary stones . For treatment and prevention of above please consult nephrologist.

Hi Small stones in the kidney and detected for very first time needs no further investigations. Keep yourself hydrated well and reduce red meat consumption, sugary drinks and overall salt intake. Small stones tend to pass on their own. If you develop pain / blood in urine consult Urologist. For recurrent stones consult Nephrologist.
