Kidney function test results
My mother diagnosed with CKD 3 months back.then her labs were
Creatinine serum -1.10
eGFR-55
Creatinine Urine -38
Albumin/ Creatinine Ratio -Urine - 2.58
Today we did another test.now her values are
Creatinine Serum - 1
eGFR-61
Creatinine Urine- 56.4
Albumin/ Creatinine Ratio -Urine -1.77
She is getting better or not?please advise?
For her age her kidneys are doing fine. Is she diabetic or hypertensive. You need to focus on controlling these risk factors. She should avoid taking nephrotoxic medications like painkillers/ some antibiotics without advice from physicians.
