My mother is suffering from chronic pancreatitis because of increased consumption of calcium tablets 6 years ago.
recently orthopaedic doctor suggested her to take Kalnase nasal spray because of osteoporosis. I wanted to know can she take calcium spray? will it affect pancreas..?
Calcium tablets are given post PANCREATITIS also. Usually calcium is not the cause of PANCREATITIS. But if it is the suspected cause then calcium should be avoided.
The spray is a harmonal spray which INCREASES calcium absorption.
