I was just laying in bed thinking, what would happen if you put food (like lettuce or a grape) into a fresh, deep wound and left it there until the wound healed? what would happen to the food and what effects would it have on your body?

Hello there. I can understand your concern. Why don't you try and see for yourself.? Here is what i think will happen. The wound will get infected, the food will go bad and worsen the situation, and the infection would increase even further. And I'm guessing you still won't take any action so you will die eventually.
