Jaundice after 4 weeks
Hi, my baby had mild jaundice when he was 3 days old, later phototherapy treatment has given, after 4 weeks again his skin colour is slightly yellow . Baby is doing good and he is passing stools and urine more than 9 times a day. Am breastfeeding him. There are no other symptoms. And my pediatrician didn't suggested any d vitamin drops . Please let me know when this will cure completely.
You should visit your pediatrician. And vitamin D3 is required for all breastfeeding babies in a dose of 400 IU once daily.
