Is it safe to insert IUD's to prevent unwanted pregnancy!? I have onechild n after 8 months, i was pregnant again so i opted for abortion and now mreally confused abt IUD INSERTION... is it safe or it has a risk of infection

Hi, iucd is a good option for you as you r young and long way to go. There r  Multoload and also mirena.

An obstetrician always gives you various options of family planning...their benefits and side effects... U need to have spacing of minimum 3 years..Since you have a child you can go for iucd insertion..whats your weight???any history of hypertension, liver disorders, diabetes???

Hello.. Yes for spacing..that is after one child its always better to go for iucd..well the chances if infection and all are very less...that is the best option of family planning for now..it's better you go for it.  Other wise if you plan to complete your family you can go fur tubectomy also...thank you
