I had bacterial (bacilli) infection some days ago.I took medication under doc. Observation. For 3 days i was given antibiotic through IV, after that for 3 days cefuroxime tablet. At fourth day i felt intense itching on vagina.

Cefuroxime will not help if you are having severe itching... most likely you are suffering from fungal infection ... topical and systemic antifungals have to be given
