Itching on outer  vulva

I have itching on the outer skin of vulva for the last some months. The patch looks like dry skin . Sometimes it gets flaky and sometimes it itches. Most of the time it's not troubling but sometimes it gets very itchy and has a burning sensation. There is no pain or burning or itching inside thr vagina. Please assist
