Itching in tip of penis and anus opening

I was treated for UTI a week ago. Now i have this itching. Are these after effects of UTI? Still have slightly frequent urination but no pain or burning. How can I be sure that I don't have STD because I read UTI and STD have similar symptoms. Please suggest.
