General Tips (Regardless of Mode)
Plan travel during nap times to make the journey easier.
Breastfeeding/formula essentials: Carry enough for the entire journey.
Diaper bag: Include extra clothes, diapers, wipes, burp cloths, sanitizer, and a changing mat.
Comfort items: Carry baby’s blanket, toy, pacifier, etc.
By Car (Most Flexible for Infants)
Use a rear-facing car seat properly strapped in.
Take breaks every 2-3 hours to feed, change, and let the baby stretch.
Avoid overheating: Ensure proper ventilation in the car.
Have one adult sit next to the baby to soothe when needed.
Additional Tips
Avoid travel if baby is unwell or recently vaccinated (within 48–72 hours).
Hydrate and rest yourself too – a calm parent helps the baby stay calm.
