Yes,it IS possible to get typhoid fever even after vaccination,as it's about 80-88% effective,NOT 100%. Very rarely,it's possible for typhoid to heal by itself,but mostly,it's theoretical,so antibiotic course is mandatory. Typhoid fever can be confirmed by typhidot test in first week of fever,and by widal test after that.
