Hello, I am a 22 year old guy and I have been having regular mouth sores that don’t seem to go away. I’m worried about the possible causes. I am sexually active and so my question is, is mouth sores and h.i.v related? Please suggest treatment if there are any alternative possible causes.

No hiv and mouth sores are not related at all. Just try to apply dologel on the sores for about 15 days and see if there is any decrease in the sores then continue with the same else consult with the gastro

Stress, vitamin deficiencies, gastrointestinal issues are some of the causes of mouth ulcers. Having mouth sores is not an indication of HIV infection. You can consult a physician for a general check up.
