Is minoxidil (5%) & finasteride (0.1%) topical solution safe for long term usage? Because I've heard that it increases the resting heart rate in the long term? What are the possible side effects of the same?

Needs monitoring... however treatment depends on the grade...You are suffering from hormonal changes causing Androgenetic alopecia causing hair fall. It's completely stoppable even regrowth of hair is possible with certain medications without any side effects. Treatment depends on the grade of hair loss. So, it's a must for diagnosing which grade, you are in for an effective treatment. Please  send photos of your head, by direct online consultation for accurate diagnosis and proper treatment.

Hair loss maybe due to various conditions such as genetic , nutritional deficiencies or environmental factors etc . We need to analyse and find the cause . You can start with topical applications but only after proper examination and we need to monitor the hair growth every few weeks . You can visit us at the clinic or do an online consultation for the same.
