Hi Lemon has citric acid. it is unlikely to harm the hair or scalp however when frequently used can irritate the skin over the scalp. Please use a ph balanced shampoo which is suitable for your hair type and scalp type. if you need help understanding your scalp please contact a dermatologist who can examine you and prescribe the appropriate skin care
