Lasik is the only option for my 10-year old to correct her defective vision. She will undergo the surgery tomorrow and I am worried if it will be too painful for her. Can someone tell me how painful would the surgery be? Is lasik painful at all? Well-informed and detailed responses from doctors or patients who have recovered from Lasik surgery would be great!

At the 10 years of age lasik is not at all recommended. It should be done at the age of at least 18 to 20 yrs.
