Is ky jelly safe to use?

I have never used a lube before and its usually said that they're safe to use but upon doing some digging, i found out that many of these lubes contain ingredients that can cause / increase risk of infections. I'm personally interested in using KY jelly but it contains glycerin which breaks down to sugar and can cause yeast infections. I need help getting a healthy budget lube.
