OBSERVATIONS: There is circumferential edematous bowel wall thickening is seen involving the terminal ileal loops, IC junction and caecum with maximum mural thickening measuring approximately 8 to 9mm. There is associated diffuse perienteric fat stranding is seen in the RIF region with associated minimal thickening of the peritoneal reflection. There is mild luminal narrowing is seen with mild dilatation of the proximal small bowel loops. There are few subcentimetric variable size nodes are seen in the IF region, largest measuring approx 12 x9mm - suggestive of infective etiology likely Koch's. Adv: - clinical and histopathological Correlation. Large bowel loops are fecal matter loaded. Few subcentimetric nodes are seen in the pre-paraaortic and mesenteric region.
