Thank you for your question. Most women experience changes to their menstrual cycle at some time. If it is a one off occurrence that your period is delayed and you have done a urine pregnancy test and it is negative you can wait for another week before repeating the test. If it is still negative and you have not bled please see your gynaecologist who can help. This does happen to many women and you need not worry about your ability to conceive later this year.
