Regular periods are a mark of normal ovarian function. If your periods are irregular or frequently delayed and your
pregnancy test is negative, most likely it is because you are not ovulating regularly. You may wish to see a gynaecologist who can do some tests and reassure you. You may also request information about the contraceptive pill which will give you regular periods as well as effective contraception until you are ready to have a baby.
