Hi, My wife is taking iron supplement as per proscribed by the doctor before lockdown, but whenever she takes fefol capsule she suffer from gas, acidity and start vomiting within few minutes also I am not able to contact doctor due to lockdown, please suggest proper time to take iron capsule and how to reduce gas and vomiting. Thanks

1.Do not take this medicine with tea, milk or eggs as they reduce the absorption of it in the stomach 2. Do not take this medicine if you have stomach ulcers, allergies to this medication in the past. 3. If there is gastritis or vomiting - she can take tab. Pantoprazole 40mg to reduce the gastritis. But it can reduce the absorption of iron into the body. 4. If the gastritis is severe , she should go for iron injections
