Hello I have an query regarding polio vaccine. My daughter is 8 months old and she got three IPV doses at second , third and fourth month also she got Oral polio too . Her OPV 1 was due on sixth month and we missed that . so should I go and get her vaccinated OPV 1 immediately or it is OK as she has got all her ipv doses. Should I give her OPV doses every month

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  Since you have got her ipv done. Its ok if you missed one opv dose. But dont miss any opv dose whenever there is vaccination camp happening. Get her vaccinated regularly till she is 5 years old. Best regards.  Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
