Iow ferritin levels.
Please suggest based on reports, my son is continuously suffering with cough , for this these tests are recommended. Can low ferritin levels cause any abnormality.
The normal ranges for ferritin in the blood are as follows:
Group:
Adult males:20–250g/mL
Adult females:10–120g/mL
Females over 40:12–263g/mL
Newborns:25–200g/mL
6 months to 15 years:7–140,hence its normal.
