My dad is suffering from ILD, pulmonary fibrosis. He is taking fibrodone tablets. He takes 6 tablets everyday. But the problem is he is having heavy gastric problem. When I searched online I got to know gastric is one of the side effects of the tablet. Doctor had given gastric tablets for a week, but when he stopped eating those tablets, he is facing gastric problem again. Please suggest me what has to be done for this. Should he take some gastric tablet or any home remedy will do.

Gastric reflux is one of the cause of pulmonary fibrosis . We usually put patients with pulmonary fibrosis on ppi+ anti reflux medications to prevent further damage of lungs. I would suggest he takes regular medications for gastric reflux.
