Intermediate risk in quadruple marker
I am currently 19 weeks pregnant. I underwent my nt scan and dual marker test I my first trimester which came back low risk. I subsequently did my anomaly scan which also came back normal. However my quadruple marker test came back with intermediate risk for down syndrome (1 in 840). Why is there this discrepancy? I am very confused. What should i do now?
Kindly undergo a level 2 usg scan if not already done and also a fetal echo to check if any cardiac defects. Review with these findings.
