Unlikely cancerous , insulinoma is also unlikely . Could be SPEN. Requires proper work up and may need to be excised laparoscopically or robotic

The CT scan shows a tumour at the tail of Pancreas: common types of tumors are Neuro endocrine tumours, Insulinoma, , and sometimes cancer (in elderly). Severe unexplained attacks of low blood sugar will point to the diagnosis of “Insulinoma”: it is an I salon producing tumour. Generally non cancerous This will need further tests like a nuclear or PET CT scan , se Insulin levels with blood sugar and C Petide. If other causes are suspected then and other tests like Chromogranin A (for NET) Treatment wise surgery for removal the tumour along with tail of Pancreas is done either Laparoscopically or Robotically
