My 25yr old sister was diagnosed 2 years ago with bipolar and schizophrenia she's on meds and gets a monthly injection but i still see her talking and laughing to herself, i could be wrong but i thought the meds were supposed to take these symptoms away? Or is this a sign that she's going psychotic?

She is suffering from psychosis. If symptoms are still persisting then you need to check on her medications.consult your psychiatrist. He or she will definitely change or renew her dosages.
