My thumb was pressed in between gates 1 month before. I suffered from enourmous pain at that time. Although, there is no pain since 2 days after the incident, there is development of some kind inside the nail and it has been growing towards the centre. Is it going to be damaged in future ? How can I save this ? Pls ans

Hey, that ingrowth is newer growth ,old dead nail will shed eventually .you can also remove the nail surgically ,it will regrow . don't let it to get infected
