My kid is 5 months old. She is a late preterm baby weighed 1.7 kg. After 45 days of her birth we noticed the bulge on both sides and she was 2kg then and doctor confirmed that it is bilateral inguinal Hernia and needs surgical repair. Now she is 4+ kg and we don't notice the lumps on any side when my baby cries. Does Hernia gets repaired on its own

If it's a confirmed case of Bilateral Inguinal hernia then it will always need surgical repair. The swelling is usually not visible all the time. Swelling mostly appears when baby is crying or passing stools etc when the intra-abdominal pressure increases.
