diabetic nehropathy is a complication of long standing diabetes. it is accelerated with poor control of diabetes, uncontrolled blood pressure, any use of nephro toxic drugs like NSAID s. So keep all these factor s under control,  meet the nephrologist for advice and to check for any reversible causes that could have worsened the nehropathy.
