One week before i had a blood test in which my ESR leveI was 66 and hb level 10.60. Doctor prescribed me some tablets for iron and taxim O 400 for 7 days. Now again after 1week I have had my blood test done yesterday which showed ESR level 70 and hb level 11.30..and having mild headache...is it a matter of concern?? Why my ESR level has not reduced??

Hello good morning dear. I can understand your situation. Be cool and relax first. Read my answer carefully. See the ESR indicates your whether your body is having any infection or not. In most of conditions even with infection it will mildly rises. But your ESR is 66mm ,it is very significant value saying that you might be having more infection. At same time your Hb' is normal.
