Implanon embedded in bicep

Contraceptive implant (Implanon) has become embedded in bicep muscle. I would rather not have surgery to remove it, and was just wondering what the implications might be if I had another one inserted correctly (subdermally either in the same arm or opposite) at the end of the originals 3 year expiry date, as I understand it will still be producing etonogestrel for some time.

You can take another implant after 3 yrs. As the dose will remain very low and ineffective so if you want to continue contraception, it is better to get on time
