It is more than range but a single high reading is not conclusive of any danger. It can be high in many non cancerous conditions too. Two things need to be done. A complete clinical assessment to see what other thing could be the cause. And repeat test is required to see if it is rising. CEA is suggestive but not diagnostic test. False positive also occur. So do not panic by this single reading. Get complete assessment.
