Immune system to come back after steroid
Dear sir,
My mother had covid pneumonia and doctor prescribed 48 mg predmet medicine for 5 days.
Now she is fine last 2 week no fever and recovering well. She has no diabetes.
Now how long is immune system compromised after taking steroid?
Means after how many days my mother get back the proper immune system as She was taken steroid for 5 days.
Now a days black fungus is reported in TV.
Kindly help.
Well do not panic about Black fungus. It is more commonly seen in people with comorbid conditions like: Diabetes, Hypertension, Stroke ,Immunocompromised conditions like HIV, Patients on Chemo etc.
