I think I'm depressed.

I wake up at about 12 pm everyday, and the first question that arrives in my mind is that what am I going to do today. I'm 23 years old, mechanical engineering graduate from one of the most respectable colleges in Pune. I appeared for Mba entrance and ranked in the top 0.3 percentile over the country and failed to secure a good seat. That was 1 year ago. I have used up an year after, and in the past years I haven't really had any ambitions or anything that makes you bounce up and down. My parents have been kind and patient enough to provide for me during this time and they'll continue to do so in the foreseeable future. I don't want to do anything. A few months back I used to be excited by sex, but enough that has lost its shine for me. Clearly, a delinquent lifestyle is not self sufficient nor sustainable. But I don't want to lose again. I have too much expectations of how things should be. And when they don't come my way... I give into my worst instincts...

Hi Is it thst you have a perfectionist approach and believe in all or none I.e either to have it all or nothing probably thinking in extreme.. You need to see life in Grey rather than black and white. It does indicate mild depression but tak about it to a psychologist and try to overcome this feeling or any hard-core belief that needs to be addressed and modified All the best
Next Steps
Consult psychologist in person or online
