I have been having pain in my right thumb specially when binding it hurts too much...the pain spread as little to my palm

pain in the right thumb  could arise from smaller joints bones of the right thumb , cause may me work related pressure on thumb or keeping palm below the head during sleep or metabolic cause GOUT or auto immune arthritis or tendanitis . needs examination by the doctor and if needed relevent test to out rule the cause and further treatment advise given .
