Answer 1: There is no need take a break from work and can work till a day prior to the Lasik procedure day ..after the procedure you should take a gap from work of 2-5 days depending on the comfort levels. Answer 2: You can wear Spectacles before Lasik till you are taken for the procedure. After procedure you will be provided with Protective Goggles from the hospital. Answer 3: Precautions after the procedure like not touching the eyes, avoiding over head shower till your Refractive Surgeon asks, avoiding eye makeup, wearing protective goggles, avoiding contact sports, avoiding swimming, strictly following the postoperative treatment and few other precautions which you will be guided by the Refractive Surgeon.
