I have thyroid and I take thyronorm 25 mg. I started taking these tablets 3 months ago. My medicine of 100 tablets got over few days back. My doctor told me to consult her 10 days before d tablets got over so that I get my blood test done and accordingly change the dose so that I won't stop taking medicine. Now due to some problems I couldn't consult her and I didn't take my medicine . Basically I want to know the side effects for the gap in taking my medicine.

Usually low dose 25 micro grams thyronorm are given for subclinical hypothyroidism which is usually a initial stage of thyroid dysfunction without any clinical symptoms. Though it is not advisable to discontinue medications it is unlikely to cause any harm in your case. Continue taking medications for a week and then get your blood test.
Next Steps
Consult nearby physician or ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
