I am suffering from voiding dysfunction
I recently went rgu mcu cystoscopy for thin stream of urine doctors noticed everything is fine in bladder urethra and prostate in cystoscopy, but in mcu my sphincter muscles seemed not loosing up, I have been suggested alpha blockers and kegel exercises they worked well for one month, my problem is find solution to frequent urination problem ,I read about urodynamic test to find exact cause of my problem, where can I get urodynamic test in Bangalore? An mcu x ray plate would have been more helpful
However I can see that MCU report states that there is a large PVR -- i.e a lot of urine stay behind after u pee.
This needs to be confirmed by doing a uroflowmetry ( ufr) followed by usg pvr measurement .
If it's confirmed objectively that ur stream is indeed slow ( in ufr) and that u have a large post void residue---- there is only one possibility.. that ur bladder muscles r not working efficiently which may be associated with sphincter dyssynergia.
This can be evaluated on by urodynamic study.
Next Steps
confirm high pvr and evaluate stream pattern by doing a basic report-
uroflowmetry followed by usg pvr
once confirmed ... u will need a urodynamic study !
