I have been diagnosed issue of thyroidism, and i am taking thyrox-50 medicine from last 7 to 8 months. Initially i started with thyrox-75 and then i reduced it to thyrox-50 and continued. Meanwhile due to some reasons, i forgot to take medicine for 5-6 days and then continued again with thyrox-50. Now i tested for tsh levels and found it to be 8.6. Now what should i do, shall i double my dose, and if yes , upto what time? Kindly suggest.
