Hydroneohrosis PUJ obsttuction

My 4 month old son, born prematured (29 weeks) has been diagnised with PUJ obstruction in left kidney. Doctors we met have suggested a surgery and some others have asked to wait. USG Scan done in Dec '18 shows moderate hydronephrosis with dilated extra renal pelvis with craniocaudal dimension measuring 38 mm & AP diameter 25 mm &PT 4.2 mm. Scan done on 16th Jan shows AP diameter 5.1 cm with cortical thickness 9.8 mm. Is surgery necesaary ? If yes, what is the success rate of such surgery and the cost involved?

Do ec renal scan test first..and if it shows obstruction, then surgery is needed...

Dilatation is progressing according to measurements you have given 2.5 cm in December and 5.1 cm in January. 5 cm dilatation is definitely significant ...what about nuclear scan report ... surgery is mostly needed in this case
