I am 31 year old female. I have PCOD and i am Trying to conceive. Recently in a full blood test HS-CRP value showed 31.3 which is very high. I am also taking medication for hypothyroidism. Other than that i don't have any known disease. My BMI is 37. So i am doing exercises and diet to reduce weight and it's slowly reducing. I don't have fatigue or any other symptoms. Is the high value of HS- CRP concerning?

Hscrp is a non specific marker of inflammation. It can be raised in many conditions not just heart related illness. If you have any heart related symptoms like chest tightness or breathing difficulty or palpitations or dizziness then get your ecg echo tmt done. If these symptoms are not there then consult a general physician

HS CRP is an inflammatory marker and it will be raised in a number of disorders.. Hence this value should be approached accordingly.. If you really concerned about your vascular risk, do LP PLA2 blood test.
