The yellowish appearance of teeth may be due to two main reasons. Either the natural color of your tooth is slightly towards yellowish hue or it may be due to surface deposits called as calculus and plaque or stains. The surface deposits can be removed by a simple procedure called scaling/oral prophylaxis. If the natural shade of your tooth itself is yellowish and if there are no surface deposits, then you can undergo a procedure called as vital bleaching although it is not advisable for all the patients. Visit your  dentist for finding out the exact cause and get treated accordingly
