First let me know the duration of application of cosmolite on face. Cosmolite is a cream which is not made for pigmentation of face.  It contains hydroquinone and midpotency steroid like mometasone and if you apply it on face regularly for longer duration it will lead to side effects like redness of face, burning after sun exposure, increased sensitivity and thinning of facial skin. If you try to stop it suddenly now,  it may lead to blackness of face and number of pimples. So please consult a Dermatologist to replace the cream to any other depigmenting cream which is steroid and hydroquinone free. Type of cream will be based on the texture and quality of skin.
