Hi, I have been dealing with lower jaw pain under the ear and neck since the month of May. I went to dentist and he suspected a tooth root fracture in the lower first molar. I didn't have any symptoms on that tooth till he say that. X-rays were normal. He took CbcT scan and he said he suspect a fracture and not sure though. He said it's better to try extraction and see if it helps. I have been to oral surgeon, dentists, ENT, neurologist for this issue. Still the same symptoms since may. I have constant burning pain in the lower jaw under ear and neck. I went to Endodontist and he couldn't see any fracture and that tooth was tender and sensitive to bite on one spot and sensitivity to cold. So he told me to do root canal.i did rct and crown, still same symptoms. my dentist want me to do extraction. I tried to contact another dentist out of state. he asked me to send cbct images. I have 600+ dicom images in dvd. how to send or view them? how to view the dicom cbct scan images?
