Hi. It isn't easy to work in such a distressful environment. Taking a leave for a few days is a temporary fix.
I would suggest you to see a psychologist and work on your symptoms. She or he will be able to guide you better and give you strength to manage or even overcome the situation at work.
Life is a beautiful gift and giving up because of whatever issue is not the solution to that issue. When we are in such a situation we tend to see the world as a horrible place and everything seems to be negative. But that's not the case always and you'll be able to see that with the help of the psychologist.
