I had medical abortion on 07th Feb and bleeding started on 9th Feb. I also done ultra sonography to check retained after abortion and sonography result are negative. But I still not get my first periods after abortion. I asked doctor and she told me to take regesteron twice in a day for 5 days. I followed the dose and even after 5 days my periods are not back. How much time it will take to get my periods after taking regesteron. My pregnancy test is also negative.

Normally after a medical abortion it takes upto 6 weeks for spontaneous resumption of periods. However now that you hv already taken regesterone just wait for 7 days for periods to start
