Hormonal issue / irregular periods

I have irregular periods. I consulted my gyneacologist She adviced me tablet Novelon for 21 days. I found out its an oral contraceptive pill. So can I have unprotected sex with my partner withing few days if I am consuming Novelon on time everyday without fear of pregnancy? Please advice!

Consult Now
Novelon is contraceptive pill so if you are taking it regularly then there is no need for additional protection. You can do unprotected sex. But remember this does not give protection against STD so better use barrier to avoid infection
